Building Services Manager

We're looking for a Building Services Manager to join our team based in Waterbeach, Cambridge., We're looking for a Building Services Manager to join our team and provide expert technical guidance across our projects. You'll be the go-to person for building services expertise, working collaboratively with teams from tender stage right through to delivery and handover. What will you be responsible for?

As a Building Services Manager, you'll be working within the team, supporting them in delivering high-quality building services across varied projects. Your day to day will include:

-Assisting with the selection of sub-contractors and reviewing technical submittals to support bids and pre-construction phases

-Working closely with Design Teams to manage specific M&E packages and coordinate services on site

-Checking the quality of installations by sub-contractors to ensure compliance with design and specifications

-Managing the commissioning process and ensuring compliance of as-built and maintenance manuals

-Providing technical advice and support to project teams, finding solutions to challenges during the build phase

You have strong technical knowledge of M&E Design and Installations with a good understanding of modern Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC systems

-You're qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Discipline at Degree level or equivalent (NVQ/HND/HNC/CIBSE)

-You have experience working within a main contracting environment, managing specialist sub-contract partners

-You have demonstrable experience of working throughout the full project lifecycle from tender through to delivery and handover

-You hold SMSTS 5 Day Cert, CSCS Card and a Full driving licence
