Experteer Overview In this role you will provide expert guidance on building safety for residential and higher-risk projects, ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act and related regulations. You will work with clients, contractors and teams to develop safety cases, resident engagement plans and safety management systems, while actively contributing to ongoing compliance and improvements. The position sits within a collaborative, employee-owned environment that values development, mentoring, and delivering high-quality safety outcomes. You'll engage across diverse projects, shaping safer buildings and trusted client relationships. Pay / Benefits
- Advise clients on building safety, focusing on residential and higher-risk buildings Support clients with building safety documentation and resident engagement Write building safety cases, resident engagement strategies, and health and safety management systems Ensure compliance with Building Safety Act and related regulations Conduct building safety case reviews, fire risk assessments, and develop safety management systems Lead client engagement and communications on building safety Advise on remedial actions, safety improvements, and ongoing compliance Provide technical advice to clients, contractors, developers, colleagues, and stakeholders Ensure projects align with current building regulations and legislation Tasks Building safety qualification (or working towards) Health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate) Preferable: Fire safety qualification or demonstrable experience Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., IOSH, CIOB, IFE) Experience with quality and technical monitoring on construction projects Knowledge of UK building regulations, Approved Document B, and relevant British Standards Key requirements Hybrid Working Generous holiday entitlement Competitive salary Private healthcare insurance Gym membership and cycle to work scheme Professional membership subscriptions
