Building Control Manager

Salary £54,495 to £59,005, pay award pending, As Building Control Manager, you'll be entrusted with a leadership role, overseeing a newly formed team of skilled professionals responsible for maintaining the highest standards of building safety, compliance, and sustainability across Bolton. You'll be a strategic leader, ensuring that all building work complies with Building Regulations and associated legislation while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence., This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as per the person specification.

Essential Requirements, Current Valid UK Driving Licence, Educated to degree level in a relevant subject such as Building Control, Building Surveying, Construction, and/or be able to demonstrate learning at an equivalent level, Full corporate membership of CABE, RICS, CIOB or similar Professional Institution membership at corporate level involving a significant Building Control element, Are you a seasoned Building Control professional with a class 3 or above qualification, strong leadership skills and a track record of success? A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including elected members, external agencies, and service-users will be key.
