Build Specialist Teacher

The Maths Skills Build Specialist Teacher should be dedicated to supporting student's needs and their journey of progression. They should have ambition and vision for this newly created post whilst contributing to the ongoing development of our curriculum structure, teaching strategies and learner experience. This is a fixed term role until July 2027 where it will be reviewed. We have full time and part time hours available. The successful candidate will:

• Inspire and motivate learners to achieve their full potential and progress confidently into further study or employment
• Use innovative and adaptive teaching strategies to support progress, retention and achievement
• On occasions deliver high-quality Maths & English sessions through flexible teaching
• Contribute to the development of an ambitious and responsive Maths & English curriculum
• Support the continued growth and development of adult provision within the department
• Work collaboratively within a forward-thinking department committed to continuous improvement
