Full Job Description
Join our diverse and dynamic Adults' Health and Care Brokerage Team as a Brokerage Officer and support our fast-paced and continuously evolving service. Our service is responsible for sourcing and securing Residential & Nursing Care Placements, Domiciliary & Live-in Care Packages, on behalf of our Community & Hospital teams for Older Persons and Physical Disability service users with eligible social care needs. What you'll do:
- Collaborate with operational services providers and service users to identify, source, and establish effective Care Placement and Packages for Hampshire County Council clients.
- Engage daily with a wide range of stakeholders including operational teams, acute hospitals, care providers, and clients/representatives.
- Use your previous experience in purchasing, sourcing, or financial management to support the brokerage processes.
- Enter Financial Provisions onto our Care System to ensure accurate payments and billing.
- Data collection, analysis, and reporting, with effective use of digital tools to collate and present data when required.
- Apply your person-centred approach to place real value in customer service and strive to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders. - Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced and continuously evolving service.
