Full Job Description
As a Bridge Foster Carer, you will play a vital role in supporting children at a critical point in their lives, helping them feel safe, valued and cared for while longer-term plans are put in place., The approval process to become a Bridge foster carer will include pre-approval training and a professional assessment, plus medical and DBS checks.
Bridge Foster Care is a specialist short-term fostering scheme designed to provide emergency homes for children and young people who enter care at short notice.
By offering a stable and supportive home environment, Bridge Foster Carers give children the immediate care they need while professionals assess their circumstances, understand their needs and plan for their future. This may involve returning home to their family or moving on to a mainstream foster placement.
