Bridge Engineer

As a Bridge Engineer within our Structures Team at Kier Design, you'll play a key role in delivering a wide range of high-profile infrastructure projects. These include National Highways Major Projects, National Highways SDF, TfL frameworks, Northamptonshire schemes, and South Wales Trunk Road Agency (SWTRA) contracts, among others. You'll be responsible for the production of technical designs and documentation, supporting the Lead Engineer to successfully deliver highways structures maintenance and new-build schemes-ensuring projects meet client requirements, on time and within budget., As an Bridge Engineer, you'll support the delivery of structures schemes within the Kier Design team, including:

• Producing technical designs, calculations, drawings and reports
• Supporting Lead Engineers on project delivery
• Assisting with maintenance and new-build structures schemes
• Ensuring designs meet client briefs, standards and programme requirements
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
  
  Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or HNC/HND equivalent)?
• Working towards or achieved IEng / CEng (MICE, MIStructE or equivalent)?
• Experienced in the inspection, assessment or design of highways structures?
• Familiar with Eurocodes and UK standards (DMRB, MCHW)?
• A proactive team player with strong technical and analytical skills?
