Full Job Description
- Train & Coach
- Deliver practical bricklaying training, coaching, and underpinning knowledge.
- Run classroom-style workshops, one-to-one tutorials, and student reviews.
- Support lecturers by setting up and assisting with vocational learning activities. Safety & Workshop Mastery
- Supervise student practical work to ensure strict Health & Safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bricklaying workshop environment.
- Keep up to date with essential safety regulations (like COSHH) and act as a First Aider.
- Gear & Inventory Control
- Check, maintain, and perform minor repairs on specialist tools and equipment.
- Manage workshop stock levels and maintain accurate material inventories.
- Ensure all equipment and building materials are safely cleaned and stored away.
- College Support
- Assess student competence against pre-determined industry criteria.
- Supervise learners during exams, site visits, and practical tests.
- Assist with exciting college enrolment events and open evenings.
