Breast Unit Manager

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced, motivated and compassionateBreast Unit Manager to lead the day-to-day operational and clinical management of our Breast Unit. This is a blended clinical and managerial role, providing hands-on specialist nursing care alongside leadership responsibility for service delivery, workforce management, quality improvement and patient experience within Breast Services. You will act as the clinical lead nurse, working closely with Consultants, the multidisciplinary team and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while driving service development and innovation., As Breast Unit Manager, you will:

• Provide operational and clinical leadership for the Breast Unit
• Deliver and oversee specialist breast nursing care, including nurse-led clinics and minor procedures
• Lead, support and develop a multidisciplinary nursing workforce
• Ensure high standards of patient safety, quality, governance and experience
• Manage staffing, rotas, sickness absence and appraisals
• Maintain effective budget, resource and stock management
• Lead service improvement, audits, incident reviews and quality initiatives
• Act as a role model in line with NMC Code, Trust values and professional standards
• Manage patient concerns and contribute to complaint resolution
• Support learning, mentorship and professional development across the team
