Full Job Description

Working as part of an Administrative Team to complete the following duties:
Inviting the eligible population for Breast Screening and a smaller cohort for Very High Risk Screening, in a timely manage and managing the results process, either generating routine results or recalling for further assessment.
Responding to client enquiries and change of appointments via telephone and email.
Maintaining the screening databases and ensuring failsafe reports and checks are performed.
Taking part in audits and compliance checks to meet Screening Quality Assurance standards., To provide the best quality care and information to enable Clients to use the Breast Screening Service with confidence and make informed choices relating to their health.
To operate and maintain the National Breast Screening System (NBSS), Breast Screening Select (BSS) and help to facilitate the efficient function of the call/recall programme for Brighton & Hove and East Sussex, including the Very High Risk Breast Screening Programme.
To perform a variety of client related clerical duties in the Breast Screening Unit including answering the telephone and booking appointments.
To communicate and work effectively with a wide variety of clients and members of the Multidisciplinary Team.
