Breast Imaging Lead Radiographer

Lead and manage the Breast Imaging Service across screening and symptomatic pathways, ensuring delivery of safe, high-quality care in line with national standards. Oversee day-to-day operations, workforce management and service performance, including meeting activity and waiting time targets. Drive service improvement, development and innovation, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and regional partners. Provide clinical leadership in mammography, support staff development and training, and promote a culture of continuous quality improvement and excellent patient experience., Please see attached job description and person specification for further details of this role and opportunity

• HCPC registered Radiographer
• BSC Radiography
• Mammography award
• Enhanced practice qualification, In-depth NHS Breast Screening Programme knowledge
• Understanding of IR(ME)R and radiation legislation
• Strong communication and leadership skills
  
  Our Breast Imaging department is a welcoming and supportive environment, equipped with four state-of-the-art digital mammography units, all offering Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) to enhance diagnostic accuracy and patient care. We also provide Contrast Enhanced Mammography (CEM), enabling advanced assessment within the service. In addition to our static sites, we operate two modern mobile units, bringing high-quality screening services closer to our communities across Gloucestershire.
