Breast Cancer Nurse Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic nurse to join the Breast CNS team for a 12 month secondment. The post will be mainly at the Eastbourne site, but the successful candidate will be expected to work cross site at the Conquest as needed., The post holder will assess, plan, implement and evaluate expert nursing care and provide support to patients with suspected and diagnosed breast cancer and those receiving cosmetic surgery as part of NHS care. The post holder will have continuing responsibility for the co-ordination of individual treatment programmes throughout the disease trajectory.The post holder will provide specialist advice and psychological support. They will develop communication pathways with key stakeholders across health and social care settings.The post holder will be involved in the development of policies and quality audit initiatives.
