Are you eager to kickstart the day by providing a welcoming and nurturing environment for our pupils? Join us as a Breakfast Club Supervisor, where you will be instrumental in attending to the personal needs of children, ensuring their safety, and fostering a relaxed, family-feel atmosphere before school begins. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys preparing food, supervising play, and positively managing pupil groups in an extended school setting. The hours of this position are Monday to Friday, 1hr 45 minutes per day (7:15am - 9:00am), term time only. Responsibilities You will greet children on arrival, supervise play activities, and ensure the children's health and safety throughout the Breakfast Club. Core duties involve preparing food while strictly adhering to Food Hygiene and Risk Assessment guidelines. Responsibilities also include assisting younger children to cut up food, liaising with parents, and ensuring pupils arrive safely into the care of their teacher at the appropriate time.

Candidates must demonstrate excellent time management, organisation skills, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. It is essential to have the ability to relate to students in a pleasant and sympathetic manner and to recognise potential child safeguarding issues. We require the physical ability to participate in play and active-based learning. Experience working in a school environment or knowledge of healthy eating is desirable. A satisfactory DBS check is mandatory, alongside a willingness to pursue necessary training and qualifications.
