Breakfast Club Assistant - Permanent - Bothal Academy

Bothal Academy is seeking to appoint a who will work as part of a team who will run the Academies breakfast club, take care of children on the school premises in maintaining the safety, welfare and good conduct of the pupils during the breakfast club provision in the morning. They will assist children in selecting their breakfast and provide activities for pupils to engage in. Bothal Academy (Upper and Lower sites) is a great school in the centre of our vibrant community. With approximately 700 pupils on roll, we proudly serve the fantastic community of Ashington. The breakfast club team will help create a fun and vibrant breakfast club for children helping them to be ready to engage in learning during the school day. Alongside providing a happy environment for the children, we provide a healthy breakfast and a safe environment. In addition to serving breakfast to the children and clearing the area, the breakfast club role will include assisting with setting up the environment, planning and delivering individual activities and working with the current staff team to encourage and promote positive opportunities prior to the school day.

The successful candidate must have well developed communication skills, a willingness to engage in children's learning and a high level of professionalism.
