Breakfast Chef - Barry

We're looking for a Breakfast Chef to join our busy, friendly, supportive, and reliable kitchen team. As part of our chef team, you'll be all about delivering our flexible all-day menu, done right, every time. You'll be responsible for preparing the kitchen for the day ahead, taking in deliveries, and delivering our famous Lounge breakfasts to the highest standard.,

• Receive and check deliveries as they arrive
• Prepare the kitchen and complete food prep ready for service
• Cook fresh food to spec, with a particular focus on delivering great Lounge breakfasts
• Work independently and efficiently during the early morning shift
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and fully prepped
• Follow food safety & allergen processes at all times
• Work as one team with FOH to deliver a great experience
  
  A passion for real cooking and quality food
• Exceptional reliability and timekeeping - you must be someone the team can count on to be here at 6:00am, every shift, on time
• Confidence working independently and unsupervised until the wider team arrives
• Energy, pace, and a positive attitude
• Team player with good communication
• Able to work efficiently under pressure
• Experience as a Breakfast Chef, Grill Chef, Line Chef or Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen
  
  We're hiring a Breakfast Chef to join the kitchen team at Morio Lounge. Part of Loungers, proudly named Casual Dining Group of the Year 2026. Offering up to 13.60/hr + tips, paid breaks and staff food every shift., This is a permanent morning role, working 6:00am to 12:00pm. You'll be trusted to work independently from 6:00am until the rest of the kitchen team arrive at 8:00am, so reliability, organisation, and exceptional timekeeping are absolutely essential.
