Brain Injury Support Worker

Make a difference in someone's life as a support worker. We're looking for a carer who is patient, kind, and compassionate - with a dash of flexibility and a sprinkle of a sense of humour. This role supports a specific client who has an acquired brain injury, in the LA 14 postcode. Our client is confident in the community and likes to get out regularly, but requires a little help to do this. This means you'll be assisting the same client each shift, but each day will be a little different! Please note, this client would prefer a male support worker in his 30s in the hopes of sharing similar interests, however all applicants will be considered. No experience is necessary - you'll be fully trained. What you need to know:

• 09:00 - 17:00 shifts
• Monday - Friday
• UK DRIVING LICENSE ESSENTIAL
• As part of your Training for the package, you will be asked to complete an Acquired Brain Injury Training Day with Headway (The Brain Injury Association).
• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must be willing to have an enhanced DBS check completed
• Client likes to be active in the community, hiking, volunteering and go swimming. You will be required to attend and participate

  Competitive hourly rate of £13.00 per Hour
• Overtime Rate of £17.00 per hour (with pre-approved overtime)
