Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages, taking ownership of a busy and varied room booking service covering more than 9,000 bookings each year for teaching, events and meetings. As the successful candidate, you will be at the heart of the Faculty's operational activity, ensuring that teaching and events are planned smoothly and effectively. You will work closely with academic colleagues and central Schwarzman teams, building strong and collaborative relationships across the University. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of the Faculty's timetabling processes, helping to refine and streamline how we plan and manage our teaching spaces. Alongside room bookings and timetabling, you will support event planning and work closely with colleagues at the Faculty's second site, the Taylor Institution. We are looking for someone who combines excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills with the confidence, tact and communication skills needed to support colleagues through operational processes and procedures. If you enjoy working collaboratively, solving practical challenges and making a real difference to the smooth running of a busy academic environment, we would love to hear from you.
