Full Job Description

  • Inspect and assess damaged BMW and MINI alloy wheels and determine the appropriate repair process.
  • Carry out alloy wheel repairs, including kerb damage, scuffs, scratches, corrosion and cosmetic defects.
  • Prepare wheels for refurbishment, including stripping, cleaning, sanding, filling and masking.
  • Undertake colour matching and paint application to achieve a high-quality OEM-style finish.
  • Carry out diamond-cut alloy wheel repairs where applicable.
  • Safely operate alloy wheel repair and finishing equipment.
  • Remove and refit tyres, valves and TPMS sensors where required.
  • Balance wheels and tyres following repair or refurbishment.
  • Ensure completed wheels meet the required quality standards before being returned to the vehicle.
  • Follow BMW/MINI repair standards, manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.
  • Identify and report any additional damage or safety concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Complete all work efficiently while maintaining consistently high standards of workmanship.
  • Maintain tools, machinery and equipment in good working order.

  • Previous experience as an Alloy Wheel Technician, Wheel Refurbishment Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of alloy wheel repair and refurbishment processes.
  • Experience working with a range of alloy wheel designs and finishes.
  • Experience with diamond-cut alloy wheels would be highly advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of wheels, tyres and TPMS systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good time-management and organisational skills.
  • A strong work ethic and professional attitude.
  • The ability to follow technical instructions and manufacturer specifications.
  • A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
