Are you passionate about making a difference in an organisation that supports people with life-limiting illnesses and people who are experiencing bereavement? If this sounds like you, then we would be very interested to hear from you.

Tynedale Hospice at Home is a Northumberland-based charity providing nursing care in the home, holistic & complementary therapy, hospital transport and family support services to people living in the areas of West Northumberland, Tynedale and Ponteland. We serve a community of around 80,000 people across 800 square miles of rural Northumberland.

As some of our trustees will reach the maximum length of their term within the next two years, we are looking to welcome new trustees to join our Board. These important roles will help guide the organisation, support thoughtful decision-making, and make a meaningful difference to the care we provide for our local community.

We are keen to welcome applications from anyone who has a strong belief in the mission and vision of Tynedale Hospice at Home.

We are committed to equality of opportunity for all and are are looking for people who are able to bring different lived experiences, knowledge and ideas, who can work constructively and enthusiastically to help us navigate the changing and challenging external environment we find ourselves operating in.

We invite applications from people with experience of Board membership whether in the private, public or third sector, as well as from those for whom this would be their first board role.

The recruitment pack contains full details of the role and how to apply.

We will be holding an open evening at our bookshop, 39A Fore Street, Hexham, NE46 1LN on Monday 28th September 5pm-7pm where you can hear more about the opportunity and speak to current trustees and CEO without any commitment.

If you would like to speak to the Chair of Trustees in more detail about what is involved in the role please email Mandy Perrie mandy@tynedalehospice.com. If you require the pack in a different format (for example large print) please contact Mandy Perrie as above.
