Board Member

Great Yarmouth Port Authority is looking to appoint a new Board Member. Appointments will be for an initial three year period. Each member is eligible for re-appointment on two subsequent occasions for three year periods.

The start date for this appointment is expected to be 1st February 2027.

Board members will receive a remuneration package.

GYPA’s current non-executive board is appointed under the terms of the GYPA

(Constitution) Harbour Revision Order (HRO) 2015. Board Members are expected to have relevant knowledge and experience and attend six meetings a year, comprising four regular ordinary meetings, an AGM and an annual public meeting. Commercial property experience would be particularly useful for this appointment although it is not an essential requirement for this appointment.
