Experteer Overview Join SSE Smart Buildings as a Smart Buildings Service Engineer in the BMS Support team to help deliver reliable building energy management across the North West. You will maintain and upgrade BMS/HVAC systems, respond to faults (including out-of-hours), and identify and implement improvements to optimise energy performance. You'll work with Siemens, Trend, Distech or Tridium controls and collaborate with customers and service providers to ensure high-quality outcomes. This role offers a path to influence sustainability targets within a leading UK BEMS provider and supports flexible working patterns. Pay / Benefits
- Perform pre-planned maintenance on BMS, small upgrades and additional works Respond to and resolve reactive breakdowns, including out-of-hours standby Identify system improvements and software enhancements to improve energy performance Provide detailed, concise on-site reports Tasks Experience with Siemens, Trend, Distech or Tridium BEMS/HVAC Building Controls Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with customers and external service providers Excellent customer service with a professional approach and ability to coach and direct others Agile working mindset with availability for on-call rota Full driving licence for site travel Key requirements Private healthcare discounts Gym membership discounts Online GP service 24/7 counselling service Interest-free loans on tech and transport season tickets Cycle to Work scheme
