Full Job Description
The Northern Care Alliance Foundation NHS Trust is one of the largest non-teaching NHS Trusts in the UK and the Biochemistry service processes over 10 million tests per annum. The department is well equipped with new Siemens Atellica systems, the new FlexLab X automated track system, Sebia Capillarys & Hydrasys protein electrophoresis equipment, HM-JACKarc analyser for FIT testing and IL blood gas analysers. The department is fully computerised with Clinisys Winpath Enterprise and Siemens ADM middleware.The custom built, state of the art Central Service Laboratory at The Royal Oldham Hospital opened in March 2007 and also serves the trust sites at Fairfield General Hospital, Bury and Rochdale Infirmary. There is an Essential Service Laboratory at Fairfield General Hospital., The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA) provides hospital and integrated health and social care services to over one million people living across Greater Manchester.
