Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Billing Officer to work within our Care Billing Team. As a Billing Officer you will create client accounts on the system and issue subsequent billing charges. You will maintain accuracy and completeness of financial records adhering to financial controls in order to ensure regulatory and statutory requirements are met. As part of the role you will support the development and maintenance of effective relationships with stakeholders, including liaising with counterparts in Income and Care Finance teams, ensuring issues and shortfalls are addressed and remedied in order to ensure the delivery of high standards of customer care.

You will have proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads. Ideally you will have experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions. Working knowledge of finance regulations, legislation and current practice is essential.

When you join Sanctuary Care, you will be part of something special - we are an innovative organisation, with ambitious growth plans. We put people at the heart of everything we do and that includes our staff. We invest heavily in your training, promote a strong teamwork ethic and make sure that you have the support and resources you need to reach your potential. Our strength lies in the quality of our people and we employ those who share our values.

You deserve more than the basics. That's why, alongside 25 days' annual leave pro rata (rising to 30, including bank holidays), occupational sick pay linked to length of service, and a pension matched up to 7%, we've created a package to help you thrive:

  • Health and wellbeing support - including Aviva Digicare+ with virtual GP appointments, plus an Employee Assistance Programme offering medical, financial, and legal advice, as well as short-term counselling
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Parental leave arrangements, paid volunteering days, and annual leave purchase scheme
  • Company-funded training and ongoing career development opportunities
  • Flexible working options and an inclusive culture where everyone belongs, supported by our staff networks including PRISM, Disability, Race Equality and Parent networks
  • Exclusive retail discounts, Cycle to Work, and salary sacrifice arrangements
