Full Job Description
Bright Bikes in St Werburgh's is looking for a reliable, hands-on bike mechanic to help refurbish children's bikes in a covered outdoor setup. We're a small, independent enterprise in St Werburgh's refurbishing children's bikes to a safe, ride-ready standard. The Role
- 1-2 days per week (Wednesday plus Thursday or Friday)
- £13/hour
- Based in a covered outdoor workspace (dry, but not fully indoor) The Work
- Carrying out standard repairs and adjustments to bring bikes to a safe, ride-ready condition
- Assessing incoming bikes and identifying required work
- Refurbishing bikes efficiently and consistently
- Keeping the workspace organised
Confident carrying out repairs and adjustments to a good standard - Able to assess what a bike needs and see the work through to completion
- Practical, efficient, and detail-oriented
- Reliable and consistent
- Comfortable taking guidance and working through tasks independently
