Full Job Description
- Coordinate the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification through to submission and post-bid review.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, and commercial teams to gather accurate cost and technical data.
- Develop and maintain cost models for composite materials, tooling, labour, and production processes.
- Ensure all bids are compliant with client requirements and internal governance and trade standards.
- Support NPI initiatives to optimise cost-effectiveness without compromising quality or performance.
- Maintain a library of historical bid data, pricing benchmarks, and lessons learned to inform future proposals.
- Identify and assess risks associated with bids and incorporate appropriate contingencies.
- Prepare and present bid documentation, including executive summaries, pricing schedules, and technical responses.
- Track bid progress and maintain communication with internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
- Continuously improve bid processes, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency and consistency.
We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins., Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proven track record in bid coordination, estimating, or commercial support roles.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimating or ERP software is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
