- Important Sponsorship Information for this post: We are currently unable to offer a certificate of sponsorship for this post Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust delivers a musculoskeletal (MSK) service in partnership Bexley CCG. The service provides rapid triage, assessment and treatment for Bexley residents with musculoskeletal conditions and MSK rehabilitation needs, linking with other services to ensure the right treatment is delivered in the right place and time. To provide an administrative support role to enable delivery of the MSK Service., An opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join our admin team working for the Musculoskeletal Service in Bexley. You will be supporting our team in processing referrals, answering calls and providing an admin service in our bases at Queen Marys Sidcup and Erith Health Centre. We are looking for someone who has an excellent knowledge of IT packages, is highly organised, able to prioritise, and is adaptable in demanding situations. The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate with a range of health care professionals and service users. Experience of RiO & E- referrals is desirable as is experience in customer-care, preferably in a health or social care setting., + Act as the first point of contact to clients both in person and on the telephone, maintaining calmness, politeness and good customer relationship skills at all times. + Process and register all new referrals for the MSK team via choose and book system, paper referrals and self referrals within service KPI's. + Take clear (legible) and concise messages for other members of the team. Forward messages to staff members in a timely manner via email and record messages in RiO + Update details of existing clients using RiO. This will include synchronisation of records, booking follow up appointments as requested by clinical staff. Calling patients and / or writing to them to confirm appointments + Arrange and re-schedule clinics as necessary ensuring that new patients are booked within the service KPI's for waiting times. + Ensure clear communication to patients / clients when changes are made at short notice We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that welcomes and supports individuals of all abilities.
