Full Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to work as part of the team running our busy Bereavement Office at St. Bartholomew's Hospital. You will be a key contact for the bereaved, ward staff and for Doctors to facilitate the completion of the Medical Cause of Death Certificate and/or Cremation certificate.. A integral role and part of the Bereavement Team at St. Bartholomew's Hospital, manged by the Head of Clinical Site Management, working alongside Chaplaincy, Funeral Directors and Doctors providing support to the bereaved families and Registrar of Deaths/Coroners' Officer. you will support this team and site operations to ensure challenges are given responsive attention team to effective and timely completion of death paperwork and review by a Medical Examiner. ensure engaging with both our internal and external stakeholders, This role is vital in "You" will deal with enquiries from bereaved next of kin, medical staff and all range of clinical and administrative staff both on telephone and face to face in relation to the Medical Certificate Cause of Death (MCCD). The post holder will be required to give support and guidance to friends and relatives of deceased patients and carrying out administrative procedures required to a very high standard within this role.
