Full Job Description
We are looking for experienced Chef de Partie to join the team at SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY MUSEUM IN MANCHESTER! Support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality food across our café / Grab & Go offering, as well as events. Help prepare, cook, and present food to Benugo standards, while ensuring all records and procedures are completed. Work closely with the Head Chef to create a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable service for our customers., · Grab and Go cafe range / Event support · Prepare, cook and serve dishes according to recipes and standards. · Ensure consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation. · Organise mise en place and stock levels for next day. · Maintain food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards. · Monitor food waste and assist Head Chef with stock rotation and stock control. · Ensure smooth service during busy periods.
· Strong cooking and food preparation skills. · Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. · Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. · Time management and organisational skills. · Attention to detail and consistency. · Teamwork and leadership abilities. · Good communication skills. · Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie. · Experience working in a professional kitchen. · Passion for food and willingness to learn and develop.
