Location: Bradford

Salary: £16.00 per hour (PAYE, negotiable based on experience) + holiday pay

Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)

SWIFT Temps Ltd - Engineering Division is recruiting for an experienced Bench Hand Joiner to join a long established manufacturer in Bradford

Key Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble high-quality custom joinery, furniture, and exhibition stands based on technical drawings.
• Perform on-site modifications and adjustments to ensure perfect fit and finish.
• Work on shop-fitting projects and commercial installations.
• Fabricate solid surfaces as required.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in high-quality bench joinery or furniture making (2-3 years).
• NVQ qualification in joinery, or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional carpentry and joinery skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Solid surface fabrication experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Working Hours Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 4:30pm

Overtime Sat - half day
