Supply Hive Wales is looking for calm, patient Behaviour Support Assistants to work with pupils in schools across Cardiff who need a little extra help to settle, focus and feel good about learning. If you stay steady under pressure and believe every child deserves a fresh start each morning, we'd love to hear from you.
The role Supporting individual pupils and small groups who find classroom routines and big feelings hard to manage
Helping children and young people spot their triggers early and use strategies to stay regulated
Building trusting, consistent relationships so pupils feel safe enough to get on with learning
Working alongside teachers and ALN staff to follow behaviour and support plans

About you Experience supporting children or young people whose behaviour can be challenging, whether in a school, youth work, care or a similar setting
No TA qualification needed - we'll chat through your experience and suitability before you register
Calm, resilient and able to stay positive (and keep your sense of humour) on the tougher days
An Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service

What we offer £14.31-£15.38 per hour, paid weekly every Friday
