Behaviour Mentor

We are seeking to appoint 2 enthusiastic, highly motivated Behaviour Mentors who are committed to improving behavioural outcomes for all pupils. Working under the guidance of the Pastoral Lead, Senior Leadership Team and SENDCO, the Behaviour Mentor will support pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, promoting positive behaviour, inclusion and engagement across the school. The Behaviour Mentor will provide targeted support to help pupils develop positive behaviour, overcome barriers to learning, and make positive choices. They will work closely with pupils and their families to promote engagement, improve outcomes, and enable pupils to reach their full potential. We are looking for someone who:

• Has excellent teaching ability KS2 Is prepared to support in Adaptive Provisions.
• Embraces the vision "Together we achieve, individually we grow" and devotedly helps all students achieve this
All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children's welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
