Before and After School Playworker

We are looking for someone to work at our breakfast and afterschool club, providing food and a safe welcoming environment for our children at the beginning and end of the school day

We are looking for someone who has the following:

  • Experience of working with 4 to 11 year olds
  • Understanding the varied needs of children and their families
  • Understanding the issues involved in the delivery of quality play care
  • Understanding the issues of equal opportunities
  • Provide and facilitate safe and creative play
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Sound judgement and common sense

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Hours of work -

  • Monday - 7.45-8.30am
  • Tuesday - 7.45am-8.30am and 3.15-5.15pm
  • Wednesday - 7.45am-8.30am and 3.15-6pm
  • Thursday - 7.45am-8.30am and 3.15-5.15pm
  • Friday - 3.15pm - 6pm

Total hours 12.5 hours
