Bartender and Waiter / Waitress - MJS Resources Limited - London

We are looking for a friendly, confident and hardworking Bartender / Waitress to join our team at a busy shisha lounge on Lower Clapton Road, Hackney. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking food and drink orders, preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring customers have an enjoyable experience from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, professional and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and provide attentive, professional service.
• Take accurate food, drink and shisha orders and process them efficiently.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to a high standard.
• Deliver food, drinks and shisha orders to customers promptly.
• Check on customers regularly and respond to requests or concerns.
• Handle payments and operate the till accurately.
• Keep the bar, tables and service areas clean, tidy and well-presented.
• Restock drinks, glassware and other supplies as required.
• Follow all health, safety, licensing and age-verification requirements.
• Work closely with other members of the team to maintain smooth service.
• Assist with opening and closing duties when required.
• Maintain a friendly, professional attitude at all times.
  
  Essential:
• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, lounge or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and well-presented.
• Able to remain calm and professional during busy periods.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends and late shifts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable:
• Previous bartending experience.
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits and other beverages.
• Experience working in a shisha lounge or similar late-night venue.
• Experience using a till/EPOS system.
