What You'll Be Doing

As a Bartender, you'll be responsible for delivering outstanding bar service and creating memorable moments for every guest.

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits, and premium beverages to the highest standards
• Deliver warm, personalised, and knowledgeable service that exceeds guest expectations
• Actively recommend drinks and pairings, enhancing the overall dining experience
• Develop an expert understanding of our wine cellar, cocktail list, and specialist beverage offering
• Stay up to date with industry trends and continuously expand your product knowledge
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure a seamless and efficient service
• Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar at all times
• Identify opportunities to elevate the guest experience and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
• Uphold Fortnum & Mason's exceptional standards of quality, presentation, and hospitality

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who combines technical skill behind the bar with genuine enthusiasm for hospitality.

• Previous bartender experience within a premium restaurant, hotel, members' club, or luxury hospitality environment
• A passion for cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverage culture
• A natural ability to engage with guests and build rapport
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine service, and drink recommendations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to remain calm, organised, and efficient during busy service periods
• A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
• A team-first attitude and a desire to continuously learn and develop
• Pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences every day
