Barback - Mistress of Mayfair - London

As a Barback, you will be an essential part of our dynamic team at Mistress of Mayfair, supporting bartenders and ensuring the seamless operation of the bar in our refined, high-energy late-night environment. Your primary focus will be on maintaining stock levels, ensuring impeccable cleanliness, and providing crucial assistance to enable our bartenders to deliver exceptional service efficiently.,

• Efficiently restock all bar supplies, including spirits, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and napkins, ensuring continuous availability.
• Maintain an immaculate and organized bar area at all times, including collecting and cleaning used glassware and utensils.
• Proactively refill ice bins, change kegs as required, and monitor inventory levels, communicating replenishment needs to management.
• Provide critical support to bartenders during peak times, fetching ingredients, preparing basic garnishes, and ensuring they can focus on drink preparation and guest interaction.
• Manage waste removal and recycling, wipe down surfaces, and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and health and safety regulations.

• Excellent physical stamina, capable of lifting and moving heavy items (e.g., kegs) and standing for extended periods.
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with effective communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Basic understanding of bar operations is advantageous, though not essential.
• Previous hospitality experience is a plus.
