Full Job Description
- Welcome customers professionally and provide excellent service.
- Take orders accurately and prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to company standards.
- Operate the EPOS/till system and process cash, card and other approved payments correctly.
- Follow procedures for discounts, refunds and voids, and report any discrepancies to management.
- Keep the bar, customer areas, tables and workstations clean, organised and well maintained.
- Restock bars, fridges and service areas, assist with deliveries, and follow stock rotation procedures.
- Minimise waste, report breakages and stock issues, and support stock control activities.
- Follow licensing, Challenge 25, health and safety, fire safety and food hygiene procedures.
- Report incidents, hazards, maintenance concerns and cleanliness issues promptly.
- Work positively with management and bar, floor, kitchen and security teams, particularly during busy periods.
- Arrive on time, attend required training and communicate clearly about availability or absence.
