Bar Staff - Casual Worker

The purpose of the job will be to greet, serve and look after guests while maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment in a busy bar and café environment. You will also maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace and dining area, update displays, and continuously expand your knowledge of food and beverage preparation methods, trends and presentation.,

• Preparing and serving drinks
• Creating a welcoming environment for a broad range of guests
• Keeping work areas, utensils and equipment and seating areas clean and well maintained.
• Properly handle and maintain all equipment
• Understanding and communicating information about our food and beverage offering, including allergen awareness
• Respond to orders, questions, concerns and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
• Receiving and processing customer payments
• Observe relevant health and safety standards
• Plus, any other reasonable duties

• Excellent verbal communication in English
• Good personal presentation
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Ability to learn new information quickly
• Physical ability to move boxes, stock.
  
  We are open Monday to Saturday, and successful applicants would tend to work 8-10-hour shifts between the hours of 9am and 10:30pm, though some flexibility may be required on occasion.
This is a casual working opportunity offering up to 20-30 hours per week at a £14.00 hourly rate.
