Full Job Description
West Street SL is a 6-bed supported living service supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities and mental health. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills and achieve their personal goals.
People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including walking, going on a day trips, watching films and playing board games.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you'll empower adults with autism, learning disabilities and mental health needs to live life their way.
You'll:
Support independence and personal goals
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
Assist with daily life activities, for example cooking, shopping and social outings
Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing
Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support
Essential:
A caring, positive and reliable attitude
Passion for supporting others
Willingness to learn and grow
Desirable:
NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Social Care
Previous care experience
Basic IT skills
