Full Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic Sonographers with independent experience in their specialist field of practice who would like to contribute to the training of the future Sonographer workforce. We are looking for Sonographers with a range of expertise in all areas of ultrasound. This is in support of a new initiative, sponsored by the Midlands Imaging Training Academy to specifically provide supervision, education, feedback and direction to trainee Sonographers during bespoke training lists in a dedicated training room on our Heartlands Hospital site., The postholder will independently perform, report and supervise a range of clinical work within their field of expertise, with high standards of patient care. They will be responsible for the daily running of the training sessions and will be expected to manage workflow, equipment, operational tasks, education and constructive feedback ensuring a safe and efficient service. A caring, co-operative and flexible approach to working practices is required whilst maintaining a professional attitude for the dignity and wellbeing of the patient.
