The role of Bank Senior Care Assistant at Agincare Homes Holdings offers a rewarding opportunity for experienced care professionals. This permanent position is based in Weymouth, where you will join a welcoming and specialised support team at Agincourt Care Home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care, administering medication safely, leading social activities, and potentially supporting new staff or leading the home when senior managers are unavailable. Candidates must have NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care or be working towards it, along with the flexibility to work night and weekend shifts as required.   • Person-centred care - You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence
  • Review -You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs.
  • Medication - You will administer residents' medication in a safe and supportive and compliant way
  • Social Activity - You will lead in and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
  • Leadership - you may support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called up on to lead the home where more senior managers are not available.
