Bank Registered Nurse

As Bank Registered Nurse, you will play an important role in delivering compassionate, person-centred care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and supporting those important to them. Working flexibly to meet service needs, you will provide skilled nursing care, contribute to symptom management and work alongside our multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the highest standards of care, comfort and dignity.

Be a Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration and a commitment to maintaining professional standards.

Have strong knowledge of infection control and evidence-based practice.

Be confident working independently whilst recognising when to seek advice or escalate concerns.

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with patients, families, volunteers and colleagues.

Be comfortable supporting patients with complex, life-limiting conditions and providing holistic end-of-life care.

At The Prince of Wales Hospice, we provide specialist palliative care in a supportive and respectful environment. Our 14-bed inpatient unit, located just minutes from Junction 32 of the M62 in Pontefract, also offers outpatient and community services, including a successful Lymphoedema clinic.
