Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, creative, positive and motivated Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurses to join our Nursing Bank at East Surrey Hospital.
You will need to have excellent communication and engagement skills and a commitment to improving service delivery for patients with learning disability and/or mental health needs including dementia who are inpatients on a variety of medical, surgical or the emergency department.
The Hospital has been rated as Outstanding by the CQC, they noted our commitment to dementia care. The Trust has recently been awarded the Best Dementia Friendly Hospital at the National Care Awards (November 2019)., We provide emergency and non-emergency services to the residents of East Surrey, North-East West Sussex, and South Croydon, including the major towns of Crawley, Horsham, Reigate and Redhill; a community of over 535,000 people. We provide acute and complex services and a range of outpatient, diagnostic services whilst Crawley Hospital and Horsham in West Sussex and Caterham Dene Hospital and Oxted Health Centre in Surrey provide less complex planned services.
