An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pharmacy Department as a bank driver at Dorset County Hospital. As a key member of this team, you will deliver medicines across Dorset to hospitals, mental health units and patients., Disclaimer: As a Bank Worker, the nature of your engagement will be seen as on a day-to-day basis. The job description for this Bank role relates to the equivalent substantive position. Whilst engaged by the Trust you would be expected to operate within the requirements of the job description.
- The role will involve the day-to-day delivery of medicines throughout the week with the possibility of Saturday and Bank Holiday requirements. There are scheduled routes, but participation in route planning will also be necessary
- You will be required to adhere to the principles of Good Distribution Practice and be the front face of our service liaising with patients and hospital staff.
- You will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure and have a flexible approach. Attention to detail and record keeping skills are essential.
