Full Job Description

This is a key role supporting our Out of Hours GP Service, working closely with GPs, NHS 111 and other healthcare providers both internally and externally, to ensure smooth and effective service delivery during evenings, overnights, weekends and bank holidays. You will be the central point of contact during Out of Hours periods, providing operational support and helping to coordinate care of patients when they most needed it, as well as providing support and management to the Care Coordination Centre weekend admin team.
Shift times 1800-2330 (Monday to Friday) 2330-0800 (Sunday to Thursday), 1600-2330 (Weekends), 2330-0700 (Friday and Saturday)., Providing onsite supervision and support to the Out of Hours GP Team, including drivers.

Liaise with NHS 111 and other healthcare providers (both internal and external) to ensure safe and timely patient care.

Monitor and manage the operational flow of the service.

Respond to urgent issues or escalations, ensuring service continuity.
