Full Job Description

The areas we cover are varied going from Children's' services, through mental health to physical services of many types. The services are based both in hospitals and the community throughout Gwynedd and Mon. Give us a ring to find out more. Main duties of the job As an autonomous practitioner you will: Provide a flexible and comprehensive service to the area you are responsible for Confidently carry out comprehensive and professional interventions for patients with complex needs incorporating physical, personal and psychological needs in relation to self-care, leisure and productivity Have excellent organisational and communication skills Provide supervision, and development of support staff and students within your team Maintain links with the immediate team as well as wider community team alongside external agencies to maintain and develop the Trusts Occupational Therapy service Have the ability to use computer systems in order to update clinical information necessary for the job role including data collection and audits Maintain and update own knowledge as required by the HCPC - active encouragement is promoted to seek internal and external training and development opportunities, You will be able to find a full Job description and Person Specification attached within the supporting documents or please click Apply now to view in Trac.   • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC Registration
  • BAHT level 1
  • Desirable
  • Short courses at post graduate diploma level.
  • Short courses at post graduate diploma level.

  • Significant post graduate experience

  • Broad band 5 rotational experience.
  • Aptitude and ability Essential
  • Evidence of working independently/ level of supervision relevant to experience.
  • Desirable
  • Ability to speak Welsh, Able to meet the travel between sites in a timely manner
  • Able to work hours flexibly over 7 days service if required.
