These roles offer an exciting opportunity for already established ACPs to work within their specialist area withinNeonatal Advanced Clinical Practitioner - Level 1 SCBU

As part of our bank, you will play a key role in supporting high-quality, patient-centred care across urgent and acute pathways. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced, rewarding environments, contributing your advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and manage infants, children, and young people.

We are looking for ACPs who are confident in autonomous clinical decision-making, adaptable, and committed to delivering safe and effective care.

· Manage the nursing team, providing 24hr cover of SCBU

· 12 cot special care baby unit (including 2 high dependency spaces)

· ACP and Nurse-led neonatal service supporting obstetric unit

· Skill mix of staff ranging from Band 2 and 3 neonatal healthcare assistants, Band 5 and 6 neonatal nurses. Band 7 Trainee Neonatal Advanced Clinical practitioners and Band 8a Neonatal advanced clinical practitioners

· The Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) will provide proactive, effective holistic service for newborns on SCBU, delivery-suite and postnatal wards. This includes responsibility for the clinical care and management for babies in a nurse led unit. In the absence of the ward manager supervise and deploy staff.

To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams / departments and across organisational boundaries.

Our Paediatric and Neonatal services are expanding, and we are seeking experienced, motivated ACPs to join our bank team.
