Bank Mobile Cross-sectional Radiographer

This role is fundamental to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services across TIC Health sites. The post holder will provide safe, effective, and patient-centred imaging by performing MRI and CT examinations in accordance with national standards, departmental protocols, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform a wide range of MRI and CT examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and best practice guidelines. We are looking for candidates who can work flexibly across TIC Health imaging sites, Milton Keynes, Reading, Romford, Solihull, Edgware and Rochdale, travelling to locations to support operational needs and ensure service continuity. - Please state in your application which locations you are able to travel to. Ensure all imaging examinations are conducted safely and in compliance with IR(ME)R regulations and radiation safety standards. Prepare and position patients appropriately for MRI and CT procedures while ensuring patient comfort,
dignity, and safety. Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications, ensuring appropriate safety procedures are followed at all times. Assess imaging referrals to ensure examinations are appropriate and justified prior to scanning. Produce high-quality diagnostic images suitable for clinical reporting. Recognise and escalate urgent or unexpected findings in line with departmental escalation procedures. Communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures and providing reassurance where necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using RIS/PACS systems. Ensure imaging equipment is operated safely and maintained in accordance with manufacturer guidance and quality assurance standards. Participate in quality assurance, audits, and service improvement initiatives. Support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team environment across all sites. Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control policies and maintain a safe clinical environment.
