Full Job Description

Support the chef to create healthy/balanced meals and snacks, and ensuring a good understanding of various dietary requirements and allergens
Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen area, with good levels of hygiene particularly in line with COSHH regulations and health and safety protocols.
Work as a team player, but have the ability to lone work when needed, effectively managing your time.
Offer support, communication and engagement to the residents.

We are on the lookout for a reliable, passionate and organised individual to join our team as a kitchen assistant., A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
Previous experience in a kitchen setting is essential.
As this is a bank role, you must be flexible to work nights, days and weekends as and when required
Must be able to drive or live close to the home
Chef or cooking experience is preferred, You don't have to have worked in care before, a previous role in a different catering environment is great for someone willing to learn. We'd like you to have some prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH. You will be a caring, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to show empathy to the needs of others.
