Full Job Description

This is a permanent role as a kitchen assistant at a care home in Gloucestershire. The successful candidate will support the chef in preparing healthy and balanced meals and snacks, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen. They will work as part of a team but also have the ability to work independently when needed., The kitchen assistant will be responsible for supporting the chef in creating healthy and balanced meals and snacks, ensuring a good understanding of various dietary requirements and allergens. They will also be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen, in line with COSHH regulations and health and safety protocols. The role requires good teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently when needed.
