Bank Hospitality Barista

To provide a food and drink (including Barista) service in a welcoming, clean environment for our residents/customers in our village cafe. Key Outcomes/Results:

• Creates a welcoming environment for residents and customers in our village restaurants with a focus on customer service and providing a wide variety of food and drinks. Builds a rapport with residents.
• Provides a café/barista service in the village restaurants.
• Supports team members by assisting in the preparation of food and beverages.
• Serves customers using the EPOS.
• Responsible for day-to-day cleanliness, hygiene and washing up after a food service.
• Safely closes down the kitchen at the end of the day in line with protocols in preparation for the next day. Removes waste., To provide a food and drink (including Barista) service in a welcoming, clean environment for our residents/customers in our village cafe.
  
  Essential:
• Knowledge and experience of good food hygiene practices
• Knowledge of health and safety principles
• Good standard of general education
Desirable:
• Barista trained
• Food hygiene qualification level 2
• Diploma (or NVQ) level 1 Catering/Food Service or equivalent
• Experience working in a busy café/restaurant environment
• Experience of working with older people
• Experience using an EPOS
